Marc Wimpee
Chief Medical Officer, Primary Care, MD
I grew up in the San Angelo area, and after spending several years in North Carolina, I came back to live in my hometown just outside of San Angelo. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, watching movies, reading, cooking, and spending time with my husband, our children and family.
I became a Nurse Practitioner because I believe God called me to help others after I experienced a painful loss as a teenager. I chose the specialty of Adult-Gerontology because I believe my personal and professional background has prepared me to care for the unique health challenges of caring for the adult and older adult populations.

Why did you choose La Esperanza Clinic? "During my time as a student, I was overwhelmed by the kindness and acceptance of the staff of La Esperanza Clinic. I knew that this organization would be my first choice for employment upon graduation.
