Sandra Elizabeth Rodriguez, FNP-C, joined La Esperanza Clinic, bringing a deep-rooted commitment to compassionate care. Growing up in Galesburg, Illinois, Sandra's childhood experiences, including accompanying her grandmother to doctor appointments, sparked her passion for primary care. Relocating to San Angelo at 11, Sandra initially resisted the move but later embraced it, forming lifelong connections and raising her two boys. Her hobbies include reading, family barbecues, movie outings, and outdoor adventures with her boys.
Driven by a desire to give back to her community, Sandra finds unmatched satisfaction in providing compassionate care regardless of cost or insurance status. With a background spanning roles in surgical ICU, intermediate care, ICU, and home health, Sandra's dedication to serving medically underserved individuals shines through at La Esperanza.

Education: Master's of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University
Patient Care Philosophy: "My goal is to provide quality primary care while treating every patient as if they are a family or friend. We often times see patient when they aren't feeling well and are at their most vulnerable state. I want to make sure they know they are heard and will be well taken care of here at La Esperanza Clinic."

Why did you choose La Esperanza Clinic? "I wanted to be able to work and give back to the community that I grew up in. The satisfaction I feel from providing compassionate care to this community regardless of cost or lack of insurance is unmatched. My goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of the approximate 80% of low-income individuals who remain medically underserved in the surrounding area."
